In this video: Behind the Scenes of a photoshoot with a Hasselblad 500 C/M, Fuji GFX 50s, Kodak TMAX 400 film, a super cool vintage Halloween mask, and my friend and frequent collaborator Dani. I share camera scans / DSLR scans of almost an entire roll of 120 black and white film photographs that I developed with monobath developer. These outdoor portraits at sunset (past, actually) were a challenge to take at proper shutter speeds, but the mirror lockup function on the Hasselblad helped make hand-holding possible for most of the photographs. The medium format digital Fuji GFX 50S had no problem at all with this, though. ISO response on modern digital cameras is just wild ... though film is WAY more flexible than some think.

I need your information when you see it! And I'll notify you shortly if you don't ...

I mention Ralph Eugene Meatyard in this episode, and here's the website I showed: .... I highly recommend his "Family Album of Lucybelle Crater" work ... Meatyard was an incredible photographer who died too soon. But his work thankfully lives on.

This is the first of two videos which will post while I am in Los Angeles creating new photographs and content ... Let me know if you want to meet up!
